Hunger in the Sahel

At the beginning of 2010, a famine alarm went off in Niger due to rising food prices and lack of rain. There was a massive increase in cases of severe acute malnutrition in the child population. These types of food crises have been happening every time the weather worsens or there is an increase in food inflation. This report was made in 2010 accompanying a team of professionals from the NGO Acción Contra el Hambre.
