I was born in Cádiz in 1979. After studying Audiovisual Communication in Malaga and Madrid, I studied Professional Photography at the EFTI school (International Center for Photography and Film) and worked for several years as an assistant and B/W darkroom for different photographers. In the following years I collaborate as a freelance for newspapers, magazines, communication agencies, publishing groups and NGOs.
In 2004 I returned to Cádiz as photography editor of the newspaper La Voz de Cádiz (Vocento). That same year I founded "Al-liquindoi Workshops" with Jessica Murray, a program of documentary photography workshops for photographers from the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia and the Caucasus.
Currently, based in the south of Spain, I continue to develop my photographic activity as a freelancer, collaborating with companies, media and NGOs, with which I develop projects on climate, migration and health crises in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
