Lebanon's location in the Middle East and its recent history have made it one of the countries with the largest refugee population. With 4.4 million inhabitants, it is home to 1 million Syrian refugees and 650,000 Palestinians. The Bekaa Valley is a clear example. Small populations oversized by the forced arrival of thousands of Syrians fleeing a country at war since 2011. This report was made on several trips made between 2014 and 2016.
